16 year old Robin Carter grows tired and weary of the special school for the blind after a tragic automobile accident that takes her sight away. As a new school year begins, she decides to take a leap of courage and attend a public school again. Robin meets Theodore on her first day, who has been encouraged by the principal to assist her until she learns her daily routine. Theodore quickly befriends Robin as he shows her around the school. As the school prom nears, the two friends decide to attend as dates. However, another unexpected event that is equally important to them is on the same night and they must make a decision that could change Robin’s life forever. *****I talked to Don tonight and he said the Doctors are very positive about his progress. God has certainly been up to something good in this man's life!! He told me that we will be putting some time into BD editing in the next few weeks. He also asked me to let everyone know that he truly appreciates the prayers and can testify that they are working! *****
Please keep our editor, Don Stafford in your prayers as he is going through a storm no one should have to go through. He is battling cancer of the liver. God is BIGGER than cancer!!!
This is not the first storm Don has weathered since taking on the Blind Date project. His wife has suffered severe illness and he lost his mother to COVID-19. On top of that, he and his wife inherited a house full of small grandchildren in the midst of it all.
Even though he is facing this trial, he wants to finish Blind Date himself. And please keep in mind that Don is editing as a labor of love of the arts, as well as for the hope of it serving God.
